Miniature food workshop- Bakuteh

A Chinese soup commonly found on the streets of Singapore. Bak Kut Teh肉骨茶 is a dish which all Singaporeans loves. This can be commonly found at Kopitiam and coffee shop. Literally translated as “meat bone tea”, Bah Kut Teh consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices. ... In Singapore, there are two styles of Bak kut teh served. While Teochew version features clear soup with peppery taste, Klang version has thick, cloudy soup with herbal taste. In our lion city, clear soup is more popular than the  herbal soup. This set of work is made using oven-baked clay, as the texture of the pork rib took me 1 least an hour to draw out and piecing them together. Even the bones need to pre baked first before I sculpt on the meat.
