DIY Bubble Tea Making During Covid19-Circuit B period

Homemade Bubble Tea

By the time she reached the bubble tea shops after work everything already closed.

On the day when Bubble Tea needed to be closed many people ran down to get their last grab, and my sister was one of them. She was not so lucky enough to get any though., that made my girl wanted to make a cup for her. She googled for some recipes and ran down to get Tapioca starch and the necessary ingredients.

This is what we use.

Bubble tea
INGREDIENTS for pearls
180ml water
90g black sugar
295g tapioca starch,

INGREDIENTS for Milk Tea
375ml of water
5 tea bags (15g)
3 Tbs black sugar syrup
200g tapioca pearls in black sugar syrup
450ml low-fat milk
12 cubes of ice

Cooking pot
Sieve
Bowl
Cup & Straw

Few days later ST made a full video on How to the Make the Bubble Tea as well and viola of course all Tapioca Starch is sold out everywhere. Thankfully, we grab ours fast, and also we just need to make that once.

Homemade Organic non fattening Bubble Milk Tea. Although its non fattening, I control the amount of caffeine intake per day. Max is One coffee in the morning One Tea in the afternoon before 4pm.

We added Organic Raw Coco Powder, thus we skipped the artificial colorings. We wanted a non fattening Bubble Milk Tea for our family. During this circuit breaker period, we had full access to our kitchen, we really need to be very careful with what we add into our homemade food.

Boiling the hand rolled tapioca pearls
Tapioca Pearls are fully Cooked now we soaked in cooled filtered water so that they wont stick together in lumps.

Last step is to boil hot water add 3 tea bags into the boiled water and wait for the tea to cool a little to about 75 degrees celsius and add our non fattening organic milk. There is quite a variety to choose from Cold Storage.
